A bit about me.
My name is Fiona Wu and I graduated from UC Irvine with a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics and a minor in Digital Information Systems.
After learning about the UI/UX community, I found myself falling in love with the design process and concepts. My first Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) course challenged me to think like a designer, and this gave me the push to pursue a career in this field. I am extremely passionate and excited to learn more about HCI and designing for a better community through empathy and research.

I am a Sagittarius and it is in my blood to love exploring and adventuring to new places! I studied abroad in Seoul, South Korea and got the chance to explore the beautiful country. I have also visited New York, Seattle, Hawaii, London, Spain, Japan, China, and Hong Kong. My next bucket list places are: Vancouver, Australia, Singapore, and France.

A Yelp enthusiast at your service! In my free time, I often browse Yelp to find the new and hot restaurants and coffee shops around me. I find so much joy in finding a local cafe to call my new work place.

A fun fact about me is that I grew up wanting to be a fashion designer! I love checking out local second hand thrift stores for unique gems. For inspiration, I browse through Pinterest to stay up to date on the latest fashion trends.
Creative

In my free time, I can be found watercoloring, journaling, drawing, or embroidering. There is something very comforting about seeing your artistic skills improve in small increments. I also love interior designing and even got the chance to redesign my own house when we remodeled.
